SnapWorth legal
Last updated: 5 October 2026. Clear information for the SnapWorth public test.
This policy explains how SnapWorth handles information when you use our UK-facing public test service. It applies to the SnapWorth website, scan flow and account area.
When you create an account, we use the email address and account details you provide so you can sign in and revisit your own activity. When you choose a photo to scan, the photo is used in your browser's scan experience to help prepare a valuation. In this public-test version, we save basic scan file details to your account after you continue; we do not retain the original photo through this flow. Please do not upload sensitive personal information or images you do not have permission to use.
We use scan information to operate the product, prepare or improve valuation workflows, investigate technical problems and understand whether results are useful. Scan records and any future results are associated with the signed-in account that created them. They are not displayed publicly and are not available to other customers through the app.
A SnapWorth result is an estimate based on the information available at the time. We may use feedback you provide, such as a correction or whether a result was useful, to improve the service. We do not treat a photo-based result as authentication, a guaranteed sale price or a professional appraisal.
Credit purchases are processed through a secure checkout hosted for SnapWorth by our payment provider. We receive the information needed to administer purchases and answer payment questions; we do not receive or store your full card details. Keep your account credentials private and contact us promptly if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
We use carefully selected service providers to host the website, operate authentication, process payments and support the valuation service. We share information with them only where needed to run those services or meet a legal obligation. We do not sell personal information.
We keep account and scan information only for as long as reasonably needed to operate, improve and protect SnapWorth, deal with support requests and meet legal or accounting requirements. To ask about your information or request deletion of your account and associated scan records, email team@snapworth.madethis.app. We may need to retain limited information where required by law or to prevent fraud.
You can stop using SnapWorth at any time. If you are in the UK or EEA, you may have rights to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of personal information, and to object to certain processing. To make a request or ask a privacy question, email team@snapworth.madethis.app. We may update this policy as the public test develops; the latest version will always appear on this page.
