Terms of Use

Last updated: 5 October 2026. Terms for using the SnapWorth public test.

Using SnapWorth

These terms apply to your use of SnapWorth during its public test. By creating an account, uploading an item photo, buying credits or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use SnapWorth.

What SnapWorth provides

SnapWorth helps you identify an item and understand a possible resale range. The service is designed for personal research and decision-making. We may change, pause or limit parts of the public test while we improve reliability, safety and availability.

Estimates are not guarantees

Every valuation is an estimate, not a promise that an item will sell for a particular price. It is not a formal appraisal, insurance valuation, tax valuation or authentication service. Market conditions, condition, completeness, location, selling fees, timing and buyer demand can materially affect a realised price. For high-value, regulated or authenticity-sensitive items, seek appropriate specialist advice.

Accounts and uploaded photos

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity on your account. Only upload photos and information you are entitled to use. Do not upload unlawful, harmful, infringing or sensitive material. We may restrict scans or accounts that appear to create a safety, fraud or misuse risk.

Free valuation and credits

An eligible account may receive one free completed valuation. We may apply reasonable controls to prevent duplicate or abusive use. Further completed valuations require available credits unless we clearly state otherwise. A credit is intended for one completed valuation; if a technical failure prevents a valuation from being completed, contact us so we can review the issue.

Purchases and refunds

Credit purchases are shown in pounds sterling and processed through a secure checkout hosted for SnapWorth by our payment provider. Before you buy, you will see the SnapWorth product, price and number of valuations in the pack. If you have a payment question, a scan has failed or you believe a charge is incorrect, contact team@snapworth.madethis.app with the email used for your account and any order reference. Nothing in these terms limits rights you may have under applicable UK consumer law.

Our responsibility

We work to provide a useful service, but the public test may contain errors, interruptions or incomplete market evidence. To the extent permitted by law, SnapWorth is not responsible for business losses, lost profits, missed sales or decisions made solely from an estimate. This does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK law.

Contact and changes

For support, privacy or terms questions, email team@snapworth.madethis.app. We may update these terms as SnapWorth develops. If changes are material, we will make the updated version available here. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
